Assist the Head Housekeeper with overseeing the housekeeping operation and staff to maximize revenues and profits while attaining optimal guest satisfaction. Continual training of staff, scheduling and other duties as assigned. Clean guest rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms for sale. Clean occupied guest rooms to assure highest possible level of guest satisfaction. Responsible for overall guest room quality and cleanliness by performing thorough room inspections for all housekeeping staff.
Essential Functions include: Train new housekeeping staff, Manage department according to established standards. Candidates must have attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ability to train and motivate staff, good communication skills, both verbal and written, high level of energy and positive attitude. Due to cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
